December is here and like it or not the holiday’s are here; the nights are filled with shopping, wrapping, baking, work parties and family obligations. Yet, this Friday (December 6th) at the 2nd Annual Holiday Live at Larkin (from 5-8PM) is your chance to relax a bit, begin celebrating the Holiday’s in style and support the Food Bank of Western New York. There will be a heated boardwalk, vendors selling their holiday wares, food trucks, craft beers, mulled wine, “adult” hot chocolate with a kick and Robot Holiday will be getting everyone into the Holiday spirit with their original holiday music!
Copies of the new Robot Holiday CD will be on sale and all proceeds will go to benefit the Food Bank of WNY.
It has finally come to an end. This Tuesday (October 29) is Larkin Square’s final Food Truck Tuesday of 2013 . It is sad , but it’s been an amazing season for everyone, the trucks and customers, who came down to grab something to eat and explore a revitalized part of the city. We hope you can come out this week because, without a doubt, it’s going to be a spectacular night.
In honor of Halloween everyone is encouraged to dress up in costume (you’ll get a $1 off your drink from the trucks)! Make sure the kids bring a bag or pillow case or bucket – any kind of candy carrying vessel – because they are all welcome to go truck to truck TRICK OR TREATING!
And finally (and this is off the charts cool) the amazing Grateful Dead cover band Workingman’s Dead is going to perform! But this is not just a typical show, they will be playing the Dead’s set from their 1990 show at Rich Stadium! None of the traffic hassle with trying to get to the stadium, no stress waiting for A Miracle, no sadness in realizing that you just saw one of the last shows Brent Mydland ever played (he died 10 days after the Buffalo show) just all of the amazing music from that magical Summer night!
The night’s party starts at 5 and we’ll be serving until the party stops at 8.
This is going to be so incredible you’ll kick yourself if you don’t go! A couple hours in the cold wouldn’t be unbearable. It ends at 8PM so you can’t say you don’t want to be out late! Come out, enjoy the last little bit of your summer routine! Hear some spectacular music! Eat delicious food (and pick something up for lunch on Wednesday)! It’s a perfect way to spend the last Tuesday of October 2013.
This Wedneday night come down and join us at the 6th Annual Biketoberfest at Larkin! If you love beer and bikes this is going to be the place to be – it’s sponsored by GoBike Buffalo and Flying Bison.
Admission is $5 and proceeds will all go to benefit GoBike Buffalo. There’s going to be live music (Ten Cent Howl and the 25-piece German band Blaskapelle), Rust Chain on tap and some great food!
We’re going to be serving 5-8 – hope to see you there!
Please come and join us this Saturday (September 28) as Just Buffalo Literary Center and more than 100,000 Poets around the world “gather to promote social, environmental & political change.”
The event takes place at Silo City (92 Childs St, Buffalo NY) from 11AM-9PM. The weather is suppose to be great and it should be a really amazing day.
We will be getting there around 6 o’clock- just in time for dinner!
There is no rain today. Rain is merely a state of mind. With that being said, you should definitely come out to the Niagara Falls Music & Arts Festival today and tomorrow (June 29th and 30th) for an amazing event! On Old Falls Street in downtown Niagara Falls there will be over 100 art and food vendors, wine tastings, street entertainers, as well as your favorite bands from WNY and Canada bringing you unforgettable and unstoppable music! How can Amy’s Truck help with this already seemingly perfect day? Well we’ll feed you of course! We’ll be hanging around from 11am to 7pm giving you the strength you need to keep all of your senses going at once. Remember, THAT’S WHAT UMBRELLAS ARE FOR!
Hope to see you there!
So we won’t be able to make it to First Niagara Center today for lunch (sad face) BUT we will be down at Larkin Square tonight (06/26) for Live at Larkin! If you haven’t checked it out yet, it’s a must. Live music, sunshine, friends, and food. And Amy’s Truck will be there to take care of that last part!
Stop down from 5:00 until 8 and enjoy summer while you can!
