Between the Polar Vortex, a little mechanical issue and a long planned & much needed vacation – January was a cruel month for the Amy’s Truck. But we are very happy to let everyone know that we are back to our regular schedule. We’ve missed everyone and want to thank you all for your patience the past few weeks.
Our first day back serving will be February 4th behind City Hall on Court St 11:30-1:30.
After that you will find us at the First Niagara Center on Wednesday, Roswell Park on Thursday and the Larkin District on Friday. We will be serving our regular times (11:30-1:30) at each location.

December is here and like it or not the holiday’s are here; the nights are filled with shopping, wrapping, baking, work parties and family obligations. Yet, this Friday (December 6th) at the 2nd Annual Holiday Live at Larkin (from 5-8PM) is your chance to relax a bit, begin celebrating the Holiday’s in style and support the Food Bank of Western New York. There will be a heated boardwalk, vendors selling their holiday wares, food trucks, craft beers, mulled wine, “adult” hot chocolate with a kick and Robot Holiday will be getting everyone into the Holiday spirit with their original holiday music!
Copies of the new Robot Holiday CD will be on sale and all proceeds will go to benefit the Food Bank of WNY.
Come out and join us from 5-8PM at the Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled (452 Delaware Ave) to kick off the Holiday Season in style!
Amy’s Truck, R&R BBQ, The Cheesy Chick, Sweet Heath, Knight Slider, House of Munch, Lloyd’s, Thai Me Up, Rolling Joe Cafe, The Roaming Buffalo, J&L’s Boulevard BBQ and The BMFT. Proceeds will go to benefit Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled.
Whether it’s because you want to eat before going out on the the biggest bar night of the year, you don’t want to make dinner since you have 10 hours of cooking to do on Thursday or because you just love food trucks & want to support a great cause – we hope to see you Wednesday night!
Alright folks it’s that time of year again! You know the time – baseball is over, our beloved Buffalo sports teams (both the Sabres and Bills) are iffy at best and continue to give us a false sense of hope game after game, Halloween and all its parties are over yet Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away and the craziness of the holiday season is just far enough off that it seems like we have all the time in the world to get ready.
We have the perfect plan for you this Sunday (November 3rd) – come out, watch, support and cheer for everyone at the Campus WheelWorks Cross in the Park 2013!
For all you bikers out there, this is a 2900 meter, USA Cycling Sanctioned CX race through Delaware Park. This is happening rain OR shine so bring your bike and your helmet (you can’t compete without one) and be ready. Pre-registration is $25 and $30 the day of. The start and finish in right near the stone bridge (near the Shakespeare in the Park stage) and is be a great way to start November and finish off the weekend

Come and join us this Saturday (September 28) at the Richardson Complex for their South Lawn Celebration – the opening of Buffalo’s newest green space.
The day’s celebration kick off at 11AM and will feature Live Music, Kids Activities, Landscape Tours, and a ton of Great Food!
The event is free and open to everyone. Tons of free parking as well (enter on Elmwood Ave between the Burchfield Penny Art Gallery and Forest Ave)

Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22 is the ultimate Buffalo festival – Slyfest 8: Urban Edition! Slyfest is a Griffin Brady’s brainchild and a major part of The Slyboots School of Music, Art & Dance
This is the first time that Slyfest has been held in Buffalo and it’s going to kick-ass! Started originally in Fredonia (seven years ago), Slyfest moved to Warsaw, NY and then to the Griffis Sculpture Park before settling into its new home in Buffalo.
Slyfest 8 is going to be held at The Yard at Rock Harbor in Black Rock. Admission is $10 and all proceeds go to help Slyboots relocate permanently to Buffalo.
We’ll be there and serving on Sunday (Sept 22) only and it’s going to be a blast! Make sure to ride your bike! It’s great exercise, finding parking sucks, you’ll look cool and if you use the GO Buffalo Bike valet…. your FIRST BEER IS FREE!
This Saturday is the 3rd installment of the Canalside Food Fight ! All the fun kicks off at 10AM and continues all day. Come and cheer on the competitors as local foodtrucks serve and continue the battle to become the Grand Champion!
We will not be competing but we will be serving 10AM-5PM and cheering on everyone battling for FOOD FIGHT Supremacy.
While your checking out the Food Fight, this is your chance celebrate Buffalo nautical history with the Buffalo Maritime Festival. It going to be an amazing day – spectacular food! Cool local history! Row-boat rentals! A beer tent! Historic re-enactments! And a ton more. Pack up the car, brings some friends and family and stop at the bank because you’re going to want to stay all day! Don’t forget to bring a hoodie because it might be a little cool but there’s no rain in the forecast
Come and join us this Saturday (August 24) for the 8th Annual Battle @ Buffalo. The event runs from 12-10PM and is at the New Era Headquarters (160 Delaware Ave, Buffalo 14202).
The first 100 people through the door will receive a gift bag that includes a custom New Era Cap. Admission is $5 and dancers coming to compete need to add another buck to that for a total of $6.
This is going to be a great day with 10 full hours of amazing dancing and art so make it a point to come down. We will be joined by a bunch of other food trucks and serving the entire day, so there will be tons of good food too!

This year the dance competition will consist of a 3vs3 B-Boy/B-Girl Battle and a 1v1 All Styles Battle. For both battles we will showcase for the top sixteen in each bracket. PRIZE FOR THE B-BOY BATTLE $1500 IN CASH AND A NEW ERA GIFT BAG! PRIZE FOR THE ALL STYLES BATTLE $300 IN CASH AND A NEW ERA GIFT BAG!

Our art tent this year will feature local artists and the supplies necessary for you to create your own master pieces. Local canvas maker Brian Wilcox will be on hand showing you how to build and stretch your own canvas while local graffiti artists show you how to master the art of spray paint.
Local artists, vendors and food trucks will be there throughout the day to bring you their talent. Our mission for this festival is to take what we do everyday at Verve Dance Studio and bring it outdoors. To share family friendly hip hop based on unity and respect with a larger audience. Please help us by spreading the word, bringing your family, friends and neighbors and by respecting yourself and others at the event.

Join us tonight at Buffalo’s City of Night at Silo City.
Tonight is the 2nd Annual City of Night and is dedicated to celebrate all the things that make Buffalo great and “is meant to draw attention to Buffalo’s history, art community, and architectural heritage by featuring the grain elevators at silo city in the old first ward as a living work of art, a symbol of our architectural heritage and a vessel for what our community’s future can be.”
The party kicks off at 4PM and continues to 2AM and is going to be an amazing experience for everyone who comes! Don’t forget that it’s FREE.

Come out today (August 10th) to the Saturday Artisan Market. Located at Canalside (across from the First Niagara Center, right near the Naval Park) the Artisan Market hosts more than 60 vendors and live entertainment.
