For this great interview with Amy’s Truck. Just letting people know that going out to eat doesn’t mean loosening the belt a notch. We have some delicious, healthy options that we can’t wait to share with you!
Alright folks it’s that time of year again! You know the time – baseball is over, our beloved Buffalo sports teams (both the Sabres and Bills) are iffy at best and continue to give us a false sense of hope game after game, Halloween and all its parties are over yet Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away and the craziness of the holiday season is just far enough off that it seems like we have all the time in the world to get ready.
We have the perfect plan for you this Sunday (November 3rd) – come out, watch, support and cheer for everyone at the Campus WheelWorks Cross in the Park 2013!
For all you bikers out there, this is a 2900 meter, USA Cycling Sanctioned CX race through Delaware Park. This is happening rain OR shine so bring your bike and your helmet (you can’t compete without one) and be ready. Pre-registration is $25 and $30 the day of. The start and finish in right near the stone bridge (near the Shakespeare in the Park stage) and is be a great way to start November and finish off the weekend
The races are staggered with the first one start promptly at 10AM. For more information about the event you can click here or call Campus at 716-881-3613
We hope to see you there! We were there last year – and the crowd and the bikers are a blast! Everyone has a great time.
Please come and join us this Saturday (September 28) as Just Buffalo Literary Center and more than 100,000 Poets around the world “gather to promote social, environmental & political change.”
The event takes place at Silo City (92 Childs St, Buffalo NY) from 11AM-9PM. The weather is suppose to be great and it should be a really amazing day.
We will be getting there around 6 o’clock- just in time for dinner!
Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22 is the ultimate Buffalo festival – Slyfest 8: Urban Edition! Slyfest is a Griffin Brady’s brainchild and a major part of The Slyboots School of Music, Art & Dance
This is the first time that Slyfest has been held in Buffalo and it’s going to kick-ass! Started originally in Fredonia (seven years ago), Slyfest moved to Warsaw, NY and then to the Griffis Sculpture Park before settling into its new home in Buffalo.
Slyfest 8 is going to be held at The Yard at Rock Harbor in Black Rock. Admission is $10 and all proceeds go to help Slyboots relocate permanently to Buffalo.
We’ll be there and serving on Sunday (Sept 22) only and it’s going to be a blast! Make sure to ride your bike! It’s great exercise, finding parking sucks, you’ll look cool and if you use the GO Buffalo Bike valet…. your FIRST BEER IS FREE!
The first 100 people through the door will receive a gift bag that includes a custom New Era Cap. Admission is $5 and dancers coming to compete need to add another buck to that for a total of $6.
This is going to be a great day with 10 full hours of amazing dancing and art so make it a point to come down. We will be joined by a bunch of other food trucks and serving the entire day, so there will be tons of good food too!
Here’s some more information from the Battle @ Buffalo site about the days activities:
This year the dance competition will consist of a 3vs3 B-Boy/B-Girl Battle and a 1v1 All Styles Battle. For both battles we will showcase for the top sixteen in each bracket. Our art tent this year will feature local artists and the supplies necessary for you to create your own master pieces. Local canvas maker Brian Wilcox will be on hand showing you how to build and stretch your own canvas while local graffiti artists show you how to master the art of spray paint.
Local artists, vendors and food trucks will be there throughout the day to bring you their talent. Our mission for this festival is to take what we do everyday at Verve Dance Studio and bring it outdoors. To share family friendly hip hop based on unity and respect with a larger audience. Please help us by spreading the word, bringing your family, friends and neighbors and by respecting yourself and others at the event.

…belongs to Amy’s Truck! And to lovers. Ok, and to the 10,000 Maniacs, we are playing tonight, Saturday July 27th on Old Falls Street in Niagara Falls! Get your 90’s pants on and come on down to this amazingly nostalgic event. Aircraft, The Albrights, and The Tins are playing as well. It’s going to be a rocking good time so we’ll see you at 5:00!
So Wednesdays is usually First Niagara Center, but today we’re trying something different! Today from 11:30am to 1:30pm we’ll be at WNED at 140 Lower Terrance in Buffalo. Food tastes better when you stand in different spots eating it. Honestly!
For the great article on Food Trucks! And for putting ol’ Amy’s Truck on the front page! If you don’t have a paper nearby you can check out the article here. Thanks to everyone who has been supporting us and our fellow truckers. Much love to all. TRUCK YEAH!
